Lake Powell

So for the 1st time in my life our family went to Lake Powell (Yes I said the 1st time) Thanks to Jacie, Randon & the Dyreng family. It was a blast!!! We went the 2nd weekend in Sept. and it was so nice the water they said was on the cooler side. But for me I didn't know the difference. The weather was wonderful!!!

We went on a tour and the sites were amazing!!!

Zoo

Gibson had been talking about all these different kinds of animals so, we decided to take a trip to the Zoo. We planned on going at the begging of summer but as always it flew by. Gibson pretends everyday he is shooting a turkey (thanks uncle Randon). He loved them!!!

It was a great family day. I love being able to go out and show my kids all the different things.

Hallee's 1st Swim

Hallee's 1st swim and she loved it!!! She loves the water, splashing around and kicking her feet. And I just love her cute little bathing suit! (Thank heaven for good uncles who were willing to go with me and help out.)

I had to throw this in. Anthony and I were laying on our bed talking and Gibson was playing at the bottom. He stood up and said "look at me I have dimples". He had put some tp in his ears. Ha ha oh what a boy!!!

Moss Falls

A couple weeks ago Anthony and I had a date night. We rode the 4-wheeler up the canyon, had a picnic and hiked to moss falls. Anthony and I have almost been married 4 yrs and he informed me awhile ago that he had never been there, so I took him. :) My family does it about once a summer. (Guess we have been slacking the last couple of years.) It is so pretty!!! There are so many different waterfalls and moss everywhere. If you have never been and you like waterfalls and hiking I would recommend it. It is a pretty neat place up Fillmore canyon!

Fish Lake

I caught a fish, yes it is a little one. But it is a fish! I would send the camera with Anthony to take one of Gibson catching a fish. But as you can tell he didn't. :(

And of course I had to put one of Hallee cute smile!!!

We had a great time at Fish Lake. Camping, fishing, EATING and of course just being with the family. We also saw like 100 pelicans on Johnson's Lake, it was awesome. But I didn't have my camera. I was so sad!!!

We had a great 4th of July! It was a great day, wonderful weather. We had a BBQ and just had a lot of fun spending time with the family!

B-day!!!

For my Birthday we went up the canyon. My wonderful husband took off the afternoon to prepare one of my favorites dutch oven chicken & potaotes. And OH was it so so so so GOOD! He also made a cake, what a sweet heart. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my B-day then with people that I love so much! Thanks for such a great day!
